TypoDay 2023 Submission

Design a poster to express/represent ‘Sacred’ through Typography. My outcome is all about connection. I took inspiration from the definition of “sacred” where it says, “connected with God or a god”. I saw this as an opportunity for a visual representation through the medium of type. By closing up the kerning between each letter, I am able to show the connection idea. To show the element of connection to a god above, I lowered the leading on each line to further the connections between all aspects of the piece.
